Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our services.

1. Introduction

Welcome to LoveBound Quilts. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Services Provided

LoveBound Quilts provides professional long-arm quilting services, including Edge-to-Edge quilting and binding services as detailed on our Services page. All services are subject to availability and our current pricing structure.

3. Quilt Preparation and Materials

Clients are responsible for preparing their quilt tops and backings as per our guidelines (e.g., pressed, squared, free of embellishments). We recommend providing backing and batting that is at least 4-6 inches larger than the quilt top on all sides. Quality of materials supplied by the client may affect the final quilting result.

4. Pricing and Estimates

All prices quoted are estimates and are based on the dimensions and services selected. Final pricing will be confirmed upon physical inspection of the quilt. Factors such as quilt complexity, thread changes, or additional services may incur extra charges. Minimum charges apply.

5. Payment Terms

Payment for services is due upon completion of the quilting unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept Stripe payment via the website, Direct Debit to my Bank account, or Cash if picking up in person. A non-refundable deposit may be required for custom quilting or large projects.

6. Turnaround Time

Estimated turnaround times will be provided upon booking. These are estimates only and are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances, machine maintenance, or high demand. We will communicate any significant delays promptly.

7. Shipping and Local Pickup/Drop-off

Clients are responsible for all shipping costs to and from LoveBound Quilts. We recommend using trackable and insured shipping methods. For local clients, pickup and drop-off arrangements will be scheduled individually.

8. Care and Handling

While utmost care will be taken with your quilt, LoveBound Quilts is not responsible for damage due to unforeseen circumstances, pre-existing fabric flaws, or issues arising from materials supplied by the client. We recommend all quilts be washed after quilting to allow for proper settling of stitches.

9. Photography and Promotion

Unless specifically requested otherwise, LoveBound Quilts reserves the right to photograph completed quilts for promotional purposes, including social media, website, and portfolio display. Client names will remain anonymous unless explicit permission is granted.

10. Intellectual Property (for Digital Patterns Business)

For services related to digital patterns, all designs and content provided remain the intellectual property of LBQ. Purchases grant a single-user license for personal or business use (e.g., to quilt for clients) but do not permit redistribution, resale, or unauthorized sharing of the digital files.

11. Limitation of Liability

LoveBound Quilts' liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the cost of the services provided.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or change our Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page.
